Toyota Camry Best-Selling Car In U.S.

At Toyota of Cool Springs we hope that all of you had a wonderful New Year and that 2014 is the best year yet!

As 2013 came to a close, many of the year-end sales reports are coming in and Toyota announced a 2.2% increase in sales in December 2013 compared to December 2012 and an overall 7.4% increase in sales in 2013 compared to 2012.  The future looks bright for Toyota vehicles in 2014 as well.

“The auto industry was a consistent bright spot in the economic recovery throughout 2013. We expect the economy will continue to gain strength in 2014, with car sales rising to pre-recession levels. – Bill Fay, Toyota division group vice president and general manager”

Along with these final sales figures, it was also announced that for the 12th year in a row the Toyota Camry is the best-selling car in the U.S.

There is a reason why the Toyota Camry is a best-selling car year after year.  It is highly regarded as one of the top midsize sedans in its class and within this model there are various trim levels so you can find the perfect Toyota Camry to fit your budget, tastes, and needs.  For instance, the 2013 Toyota Camry is offered in L, LE, SE and XLE trim levels. What drivers also love about the Toyota Camry is that you do not need to add costly optional features to get the vehicle you want, as most features come standard. For instance, the 2013 Toyota Camry includes these as standard features: 16-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, power windows and mirrors, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, split-folding rear seats, a trip computer, Bluetooth, a 6-inch display and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, HD radio, satellite radio, an auxiliary input and a USB/iPod interface.

Be sure to stop by Toyota of Cool Springs to check out this best-selling car and see why the Toyota Camry has been the best-selling car in the U.S. for 12 years in a row! We look forward to the newer models in years to come as the Toyota Camry will be getting some tweaks in order to stay on top of the competition!
